The Hebrew Hammers:
A Season of Grit and Community 2026
The St. Lucie County Senior Softball League has long been a staple of the Port St. Lucie community, but the 2026 season saw a particularly impressive run by the Hebrew Hammers. Representing the spirit and talent of the Riverland neighborhoods, the Hammers carved out a hard-fought third-place finish in an increasingly competitive Division A.
2026 Season Highlights
With a final record of 13 wins and 7 losses, the Hammers proved to be one of the most consistent forces on the field at Paseo Park. Their season was defined by a balance of sharp defensive play and a "team-first" mentality that has become their trademark.
• Final Standing: 3rd Place
• Record: 13-7
• Home Turf: Riverland Paseo Park
• Key Philosophy: Building lasting camaraderie and community belonging beyond just the play at the plate.
Looking Ahead to 2027
While a 13-7 record is a testament to their skill, the Hammers are already eyeing the top of the podium for next year. Managed by stu moss with support from
Mike Motto, the team remains a tight-knit group that thrives on the post-game laughs as much as the double plays.
As the league continues to grow—keeping local seniors active and off the roads—the Hebrew Hammers stand as a prime example of why Port St. Lucie senior softball is about more than just a box score. They’ve set a high bar for 2026, and the rest of the league will certainly be watching them closely when opening day rolls around next January
